🇺🇸NVIDIA and its Dependence on 🇹🇼TSMC and 🇹🇼Taiwan

NVIDIA sources its semiconductor chips primarily from TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company), which operates six major fabrication plants (fabs) in Taiwan. These fabs are critical to NVIDIA’s supply chain, enabling the production of high-performance GPUs and other advanced semiconductor products. In addition to its operations in Taiwan, TSMC is actively expanding its global manufacturing capabilities and is currently in the process of building a new fab in Arizona, USA. This facility is part of TSMC’s commitment to enhancing domestic semiconductor production in response to growing demand and geopolitical considerations. The Arizona fab will support a variety of semiconductor applications and signifies a strategic move to diversify TSMC’s manufacturing footprint beyond Asia, thereby strengthening the supply chain for companies like NVIDIA.

Now what do you think will happen if tariffs become an issue for China or the US further increases modern weapons sales to Taiwan?
